One step closer

Well I’m one step closer to going to Italy tonight, because today I lodged and paid for my passport. Yay!!

It was rather funny in a kind of sad way – when I showed the lady my birth certificate she gasped at how old it looked! I had to remind her that I am no spring chicken – mind you this young lady would have been all of what twenty two.
So now it’s just a matter of waiting out the two to three weeks that it takes for the passport to arrive. I can’t tell you how excited I am.
Italy here I come !!!

  1. Reblogged this on georgeforfun and commented:
I glad they let me scan mine and get it certified at the courthouse. Dang stone doesn’t get any lighter as I get older. It hasn’t learned how to resist gravity even after all these years. )))

  2. I am excited for you – and laughing at the young lady at the pp office. It reminds me of when I was registering my son’s new car earlier this year – this song started playing and the lady was surprised I knew it – different generations but I don’t always live under a rock (ha!)

  3. Mace a great time. You will love it. Enjoy the arts, beautiful buildings and fountains, the food but mostly the people :).
