      1. In our case it was important the get a puppy, because I had two old cats, as did not like dogs at all. If you take a stray dog, you can never be sure, that it will not hurt your cats. But we did not pay for our dog in money, but we do pay with great food, bones and a lot of love now.

  1. I wish I had the space for an animal to love. I had a sweet dog when I moved in here, but now, having to live in this chair, I’m so afraid I would run over a small dog or cat, so I’ll have to live without one now, and give my kisses to friends dogs when they come to visit. And the sweet little dog on the elevator who chose to give me his kisses instead of his person.

Actually every day should be stray animals day – I know that it becomes increasingly difficult financially to care for our pets which is why many of them are strays to begin with. However, dogs and cats survived for hundreds of thousands of years eating our scraps – some protein, vegetables, rice – cleaned teeth and an annual check up and you will have very happy and loyal family members. They give far more than they receive.
