Work placement

My hubby is starting his job placement tomorrow!! It’s rather exciting but also a little scary. After years of working in the shipping industry he has decided to change his career and is currently working his way through a certificate 3 in aged care. Tomorrow will be his first real day on the job,so to speak. Fingers crossed he enjoys it. I’m hoping it will be all he imagines it to be and more. Many people are offered employment during their placement, that’s what we are hoping for.Hopefully I’ll have good news to share in the next few weeks.

Highlight of today

When I was thinking about what to blog about tonight I kind of thought over my day and what the highlights were, I also thought about my family and their highlights and top of the list today for all of us would have to be my husband starting his Aged Care course today.
Yes my husband has enrolled in a 20 week certificate 3 course in Aged Care. Why aged care you may ask it is so far from what he was doing all these years – which was shipping – so I’m guessing that is in fact the very reason, because it is something so very different.

Personally I think he will be great in this job, as a whole he is a happy man and I think he will certainly brighten the lives of the people he comes into contact with. 

At the moment it is just good to see him excited about the prospects that lie ahead.
