Philippines Medical Mission trip

There is a small group of staff from the Community Health Service where I work, embarking on a medical mission to provide medical, dental and optical aid to the people of Pasig and Caloocan. This will be the 6th annual medical mission trip by FGA in the Philippines.
The poorest Filipino family ears $5 AUD a day. Food accounts for two thirds of family expenditures. Healthcare in the Philippines can be a heavy burden. Going to the doctor could mean no meals for a day, two days or even a week. Some wait until the final stages of illness before going to hospital. Some never recover.

FGA fund their own expenses, so that donations go purely to medical aid. You can help

-set up mobile clinics

-buy medication

-provide glasses

-cure pain

Last year the FGA treated 2000 patients, but this year with an even larger team of volunteers, and with the generous support of the public, they are hoping to help even more people and provide and even greater level of care.

FGA is seeking to raise funds to assist with the mission in purchasing various aids etc and were hoping that you could assist by donating to the mission.
