My mum is the best!!!

It’s official I have the worlds greatest mum!!! My parents came in to see me at work today bearing yummy gifts.
A delicious split pea soup that my mum had made with her own home made croutons!! Yummm 

Not only was she thoughtful enough to bring it in to work for me, but she also brought me a spoon in case we didn’t have one at work and salt and pepper in little satchels!! Awwwww 

Perfect lunch for a cold winters day filled with delicious home made goodness and packed with love as only a mother can.

On the mend

Ok so I’m finally on the mend and even though I’m not quite 100% better I’m much much better, all that remains now is that annoying cough at night time. Yesterday I even went to Zumba and tonight I was back at boxing – I’m sure I will be sore tomorrow but it feels good to be back into it again. Funny the stuff you miss – like breathing out of both nostrils!!!

The winter cold has hit us pretty hard at the moment, well the boys and I, Madelyn and Stephen seem to be fine. Harry who first brought the cold into our household is worst of all.

I snapped this photo only a few minutes ago of Harry sound asleep on the couch and Dexter siting on top of him – watching over his sick little brother. 

If I didn’t have to pick Madelyn up from rehearsal, that’s where I too would be fast asleep on the other couch.
