Today has been a good day, after yesterday it could only really get better!!
Yesterday morning on the way to work just after I had dropped off my twins and was heading to the high school, a lady ran into the back of my car when I was at a standstill at a Give way sign!!
Thankfully no one was injured but my son was very shaken as was I, because this was the first accident I had ever been in with one of my children in the car!!
My poor little car is off getting repaired now, it won’t be ready for a week and a half but for a minute there it was touch and go as to whether it would be a write off or not!
So today I am very happy that my car is being repaired and will soon be with me again. In the meantime I am driving my husbands car which feels a lot like driving a tank.
Another highlight of today was that I got to try boxing for the very first time!! I don’t think that I have ever sweat so much in my whole life! I’m sure that I will be very sore tomorrow but tonight I feel invigorated!!
Life is such a roller coaster you never know what is coming from one moment to the next.
Ah, ‘the spice of life’ hey?? I’m so glad you’ve had a better day x x x
Thank you dear friend π xxx
yes there are to many surprises. glad you are ok
Thank you π
I’m glad nobody was hurt! I’ve never tried boxing. I’m too much of a chicken!
You would like it, it feels quite liberating lol
I’m glad that you guys are okay, and that the car can be fixed instead of totaled, at least on our side of the pond it means we get the car back faster!
Thank you Kate. Me too I really love my car it’s small and fast and fits in any parking spot. It’s like a comfortable pair of shoes xx
Unfortunate that you were not more proficient at boxing when struck from behind by the other driver. You could have settled the issue right there on the street.
Lol now that would have been funny. I don’t know that I will ever be proficient in boxing I kept apologizing to the man in the ring every time I hit him, he just kept telling me that he is a boxer and used to deflecting the blows (not that mine were that hard). π
